In the name of getting the job of Assistant Engineer in Patna Metro, more than a dozen youths were cheated. For this, the offer letter was also given to these youths.
When the youth reached the office of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation at Indira Bhawan in the capital Patna on 10th July, they realized that they had been cheated. Dainik Jagran spoke to the youths who were cheated on Wednesday, in which many interesting things have come to the fore.
The youths told that the name of the thug is Nikesh Kumar. A few weeks ago in Patna Metro, advertisement for the restoration of 27 Assistant Engineer posts came. By showing this advertisement, the thug took his hoax.
The date of application for this post was over, but the thug took three thousand rupees from them in the name of getting the interview. There has also been talking of taking more amount from some youths. After this, everyone was asked to come to Indira Bhavan on the 10th in different shifts.
Here the thug himself absconded in the name of making a gate pass. When the youths went to the office, they were told that even before this, such forgery had happened with eight to ten youths. Now the thug has switched off his mobile number. DMRC has also lodged a complaint in this matter at SKpuri police station.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), which built the Patna Metro, had itself warned people a few days ago to avoid thugs. DMRC has issued a message saying that some vicious people are duping unemployed youths by taking out fake advertisements for providing employment in Patna Metro.
Not only this, some are even giving offer letters. For any kind of information related to the metro, use the official website of Delhi Metro. The process of appointment in DMRC is completely computerized and merit based. DMRC has not authorized any agency or person for this.
