Chrissy Teigen is opening up about struggling with her mental health following her social media scandal involving Courtney Stodden.

The 35-year-old apologised to Courtney Stodden for bullying them online after the model spoke to The Daily Beast about their interactions with Chrissy.

Chrissy has since also broken her silence in a lengthy piece for Medium.

Now, the cookbook author says she feels like "utter shit in real life", despite keeping up appearances online. "Going outside sucks and doesn't feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race. But I do know that however I'm handling this now isn't the right answer. I feel lost and need to find my place again, I need to snap out of this, I desperately wanna communicate with you guys instead of pretending everything is okay."

The former supermodel speaks of being part of the "cancel club". "It just sucks," she says. "I can't do this silent shit anymore! If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch!"
