The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the result portal for calculation of class 12th results from July 16 (noon) to July 22 midnight to allow schools to complete moderation of class 10th and 11th marks
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has opened the result portal for calculation of class 12th results from July 16 (noon) to July 22 midnight to allow schools to complete moderation of class 10th and 11th marks. "If any school fails to complete the moderation within the stipulated time frame, their result will be declared separately after July 31," the board said in an official notice.
CBSE in its official circular said that moderating the marks of class 11 and 12 would be a "huge responsibility". Any difference in school policy could result in some students benefits or disadvantages. Hence schools have been compulsorily asked to give marks in a fair manner. So that no student should be harmed or benefited in any way.

Moderation of Marks is actually a provision in which grace marks are given to those students who are going to fail with few marks. Apart from this, there is a provision of giving grace marks for difficult question papers or wrong questions in this policy. Now since CBSE board examinations have not been held due to Covid-19, so under this policy, the results of class 12 students have to be prepared. The marks will be moderated keeping in mind the marks of 11th and last three years.
