Panchkula, July 13

The police have arrested two persons for allegedly murdering a 55-year-old man over parking at Indira Colony in Sector 16 here on July 9.

The suspects have been identified as Mahipal and Junael, both residents of the colony. They were produced in a court, which remanded them in judicial custody.

The police said the suspects had allegedly stabbed Binder to death following a quarrel over parking of a two-wheeler. The victim’s two sons and wife had also suffered injuries in the attack involving a knife, rods and sticks. The suspects had fled from the scene following the attack.

A case was registered on a complaint of the victim’s son, Rinku, at the Sector 14 police station. — TNS
