Barratt forecasts full-year profit will beat expectations

Housebuilding giant Barratt Developments has told investors it expects annual profit to be above the top end of its expectations due to the strength of the housing market and rising prices.

Barratt completed 17,243 during the year to end June 2021, up from a Covid-19 affected 12,604 a year ago and only just below the 17,856 in 2019.
