    Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

    Synopsis

    SVP Global, Shyam Century Ferro, Alicon Castalloy, Sumit Woods and Steel Strips, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:10AM.

    India 10-year bond yield fell 0.34 per cent to 6.13 after trading in 6.13-6.16 range.
    NEW DELHI:Shares of SVP Global, Shyam Century Ferro, Alicon Castalloy, Sumit Woods and Steel Strips, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:10AM (IST) on NSE.

    Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 33.85 points to 15778.5 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

    However, stocks such as Walpar Nutritions Ltd., touched their fresh 52-week low.

    Overall, 16 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 33 traded in the red.

    In the Nifty 50 index, Tech Mahindra, L&T, HCL Tech, ONGC and Bajaj Auto were among top gainers, while UPL, HDFC, Nestle India, HUL and JSW Steel traded in the red.

    The BSE Sensex was trading 110.24 points down at 52659.49 at 10:10AM (IST).

    Traders were seen piling up positions in Diversified, Miscellaneous, Industrial Equipment, Metals - Ferrous and Cables sectors, while selling was visible in Plastics, Gems and Jewellery, Chemicals, IT - Hardware and Sugar sectors.
