Founded in 1989 and headquartered in Bangkok, Cal Comp Electronics (Thailand) is a subsidiary of Taiwan's New Kinpo Group. The electronics manufacturer went public in Thailand in 2001 and issued Taiwan Depository Receipt two years later.

Having THB4.28 billion (US$131.09 million) in paid-in capital, the Bangkok-based EMS provider received several tax incentives for electronics and component manufacturing from Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), and some incentives for electronics device and plastic component manufacturing.

As the largest EMS service provider, Cal Comp Thailand's services range from applied robotics, semiconductor design and packaging, OEM and ODM services for big names such as Huawei, HP, Sharp, Nikon, Panasonic, and Konica Minolta.

Cal Comp makes a variety of products including: Computers, printers, motherboards, external hard drives, NAS, PCBA, USB flash drives, set-top boxes (STB), other telecom devices, bluetooth headsets, smart TVs, smart mirrors, smart POS and media player
