Megan Fox on matching outfits with Machine Gun Kelly: ‘I have to elevate myself’

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly are a perfect match in more ways than one.

During an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” earlier this week, 35-year-old Fox confirmed that the couple’s often-coordinating clothes are completely intentional.

“We do [match], yeah,” the actress told guest host Arsenio Hall.

“That’s something I started with him because he’s such a flamboyant dresser. I can’t really pull off just the sweatpants and the yoga gear. I have to, like, elevate myself to his level.”

Fox added that she’s in constant awe of the 31-year-old “Bloody Valentine” rocker’s signature style, especially when it comes to his performance looks.

“He’s always covered in grommet, zippers, sequins, everything’s pink, everything’s glowing,” she said. “He’s always coming off of a stage show, so I have to match what he’s doing.”

The “twin flames” began dating in early 2020, and frequently commit to coordinated looks both on and off the red carpet.

Even their manicures match; the duo’s nail artist, Brittney Boyce, recently told Page Six Style that she hopes his-and-hers manis “[stay] their thing for a while” instead of becoming a broader trend.

Most recently, the pair attended the UFC 246 showdown in Las Vegas over the weekend, both dressed in Dolce & Gabbana. Fox went for a nude satin corset dress, while MGK opted for an equally eye-catching gem-studded bomber jacket.

But the “Transformers” star still puts her own signature spin on her outfits, often adding a bold red lip, as she did for the “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” appearance.

During her interview, Fox also discussed her recent experience drinking ayahuasca in Costa Rica with her beau, sharing that she “went to hell” during her harrowing hallucination.
