ZTE delivers over 500,000 ONTs to Mexico's Megacable

ZTE said it has reached the milestone of over 500,000 Optical Network Units (ONTs) delivered to Mexican triple play operator Megacable, marking a new stage of cooperation in the deployment of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) networks. The Chinese company said its Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) ONTs are helping Megacable accelerate its fibre transformation, reaching nearly 20 percent of the Mexican fixed broadband market with its nearly 4 million users.
