WWE NXT Match Card: Karrion Kross vs. Johnny Gargano For the NXT Championship & NXT Breakout Tournament to kick-off from this week

WWE NXT Match Card: Next week on the Black & Gold brand, Karrion Kross will be defending his NXT Championship against Johnny Gargano with Samoa Joe as the special guest referee. Apart from Kross vs. Gargano, NXT the Black & Gold brand will kick off the NXT Breakout Tournament with Duke Hudson & Ikemen Jiro in action.

Kross and Johnny have been feuding for several weeks on the Black & Gold brand. On tonight’s breathtaking edition of NXT Great American Bash, the two were face-to-face in a segment where the match was made official. 

During the segment, Kross mentioned that he thinks of three things every day when he wakes up. First, he never loses the NXT Title, second, main event Wrestlemania one day, and third, hold the prestigious WWE Championship title one day.

Two of the three dreams Kross mentioned in the segment could only be accomplished when he moves to the main roster. Of late, there have been rumors of him moving to either WWE Raw or WWE Smackdown, but no authentic news is out yet. 

Recently, he has worked on several WWE Raw & WWE Smackdown dark matches for officials to have a close look at him before the main roster call-up, and the officials have reportedly been satisfied with what Kross has on offer. As of now, he is enjoying a dominating run as the NXT Champion and looking good enough to hold the title for long. 

WWE NXT Match Card: Ikemen Jiro vs. Duke Hudson

NXT is all set to find the next group of talent via the NXT Breakout tournament. The match to kick-off the tournament will take place between Ikemen Jiro & Duke Hudson.

The tournament comprises eight contestants with the full field announced last wee at NXT Great American Bash. Carmelo Hayes, Andre Chase, Trey Baxter, Josh Briggs, Joe Gacy and Odyssey Jones are the other 6-man to compete in the tournament.
