Thane: Here's where citizens in 18+ age group can get Covid-19 vaccine today

ANE: The Covid-19 vaccination drive is all set to be conducted across 45 centres in Thane on Wednesday.
However, except for five restricted centres, all the other centres will be administering only the second dose of the vaccines on Wednesday.
COVAXIN:
Only one vaccination centre in Thane will give out Covaxin jabs on Wednesday to those who are due for their second dose. The Thane Global Hub 1 centre will be open for walk-in vaccination from 10 am to 1 pm with 200 doses.
People who had taken their first Covaxin shot on June 14 are now eligible for the second one.
COVISHIELD:
All those who have taken their first dose of Covishield on or before April 19 are now eligible for their second dose. For those travelling abroad for studies, work and participants of the Tokyo Olympics, they can get their second jab of Covishield after 28 days, as per the Centre's directives.
Offline vaccination
A total of 38 centres in Thane will allow walk-in vaccination for eligible beneficiaries over the age of 18 years on Wednesday. Most of the centres have allotted only 120 doses of Covishield for the day, with some exceptions.
All the centres will be operational in the time window of 11 am to 4 pm.
Online vaccination
The TMC drive-in vaccination centre at Raymond Company in Thane will be functional from 11 am to 4 pm with 100 doses of Covishield. However, citizens have to book their slot online to get their second shot at the centre.
For people travelling abroad
A special vaccination session has been arranged for those who are due to travel abroad at the TMC Post Covid Centre 1 (Lodha Luxeria) from 11 am to 1 pm.
A total of 100 doses have been allotted for the day.
RESTRICTED SESSIONS:
For tribals
A special vaccination camp for tribals above 18 years of age will be set up at TMC Yeoor Health Centre from 12 pm to 4 pm. Both first and second doses of Covishield will be available at the centre.
For destitute
A restricted vaccination drive will also be conducted at the Thane Mental Hospital for the homeless and destitute by the civic body. The first and second doses of Covishield have been made available.
Besides, three separate restricted sessions have been set up for Thane police personnel, inmates of the Thane prison and Central Railway employees, respectively.
