While the IT-Software and Internet/eComm industry continues to dominate hiring activity in this domain, there’s been a 41% uptick in the average number of tech jobs from non-IT sectors in Mar-May’21 vs Mar-May’19. Hiring for tech roles has also grown by over 2X in industries like FMCG and Education/Teaching. The number of jobs for higher salary buckets such as 20-30 LPA has gone up by 3.3X and roles paying greater than 30 LPA have increased significantly by 4.9X in Mar-May’21 vs Mar-May’19. On the other end of the salary spectrum, hiring for tech roles with the salary bands of 5-10 and 10-20 LPA has grown by 1.7X.
