Karnataka sees 1990 fresh Covid-19 cases, 45 deaths

Bengaluru, Jul 14(UNI) Karnataka recorded 1,990 fresh Covid 19 cases and 45 deaths in the past 24-hours, taking the caseload in the state to 28,76,587 and death toll to 35989.
According to official sources, 2,537 covid-19 patients got discharged after being completely cured of the disease.
Active cases in the state stand at 33,642.
As many as 124494 samples were tested for Covid-19.
Test positivity rate stands at 1.59 per cent while the case fatality rate accounted for 2.26 per cent.
