Day one will feature presentations from USFIA experts and counsel as well as a keynote from Federal Maritime Commissioner Rebecca F Dye on current supply chain challenges. Dr Sheng Lu of the University of Delaware will discuss findings from the 2021 Fashion Industry Benchmarking Study, the organisers said in a media release.
Day two will feature a discussion on social compliance in addition to a discussion on Digital Services Taxes from PwC. The event will end with a retrospective on the fashion industry with Leonie Barrie, former editor at Just-Style and VP of business development at the Better Buying Institute.
The off-the-record sessions at the event include - Trade Policy Agenda for the Biden Administration; Update from US Customs and Border Protection; and Trade Policy Agenda for the Congress.
