UFC president Dana White offers Khabib Nurmagomedov blockbuster fight against Georges St-Pierre to lure him out of retirement... but Russian says NO and insists 'I'm really finished' having not fought since October
- Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement last year at the age of 32
- But that has not stopped UFC supremo Dana White trying to lure him back
- Khabib revealed that White offered him a fight against legend Georges St-Pierre
- But the Russian insisted he really is retired after his last win versus Justin Gaethje
Khabib Nurmagomedov has revealed that UFC president Dana White offered him a blockbuster fight with Georges St-Pierre - but the Russian said no and insisted he is staying retired.
Khabib, who is undefeated following a 29-0 career, last fought in October 2020 when he stopped Justin Gaethje and immediately announced plans to call it a day.
Yet despite that announcement, that hasn't stopped the rumour-mill swirling for Khabib to return to the cage and the 32-year-old Russian says that White is still trying to lure him back to UFC, even offering him a bout against Canadian 40-year-old St-Pierre, who himself last fought in November 2017.

But White's attempts have been in van after Khabib confirmed he wishes to stay retired
'[Dana] sent me a message and said, "Hey, Georges St-Pierre wants to fight with you"' Nurmagomedov told MMA Junkie.
'I said, "What can I do?" I don't know. I'm finished, you know? I think Georges is finished, too, you know.
'Let this guy be a legend. He's 40 years old and I don't understand why he has to fight. I think he has money, too. I'm finished. I'm really finished.'
'I'm only 32 years old. People are going to talk about this [for] maybe the next seven [or] eight years.

Khabib produced a first-class performance to beat Justin Gaethje in his final fight in October
'Because for MMA, a lot of guys on the top are 37, 38, 39. They're still on the top. People are going to talk about this until that day comes I think.'
Khabib defeated Gaethje in Abu Dhabi with a inspired second-round chokehold, while he has previously beaten Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier in previous mouthwatering pay-per-view shows.
Since retiring, Khabib has actually set up his own MMA promotion, known as Eagle FC, and has been showing off his football skills on his Instagram.
