Price of TD-5 raw jute in India may drop considerably in the first half of this jute season (July 2021 to June 2022) to reach ₹5,694.70 per quintal by December 2021. The price went up from ₹5,347.62 per quintal in January 2021 to ₹6,395.65 per quintal in March 2021, and further increased by 17.34 per cent to ₹7,504.55 per quintal in June 2021.
