Over 31 thousand New Cases Reported in last 24 hours, Lowest in 118 days

The Union Health Ministry in a statement said that the country has reported 31 thousand 443 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours which the lowest in 118 days.

The country’s active caseload has further declined to 4 lakh 31 thousand and 315, the lowest in 109 days. The active cases constitute 1.40 per cent of the total reported cases so far.

A total of 49 thousand 7 patients also recovered from the infection during the last 24 hours taking the total recoveries to more than 3 crore 63 thousand.

The country has registered further improvement in the Recovery Rate which has now increased to 97.28 percent.
