A neurologist on why walnuts are good for brain health



When it comes to foods that will improve your brain, your options are many. That’s a good thing, of course (give us any brain-healthy recipes, please!), But when it comes to that best the best, is there some kind of hierarchy? If experts had to choose, which brain-assisting food would they put on their plate?

We sent this question to neurologists Dean Sherzai, MD, and Ayesha Sherzai, MD, on the mindbodygreen podcast. Your answer? One tip: “They’re absolutely delicious and look like the brain,” says Ayesha.
