Nagaland records 78 COVID-19 cases, four deaths

Kohima, Jul 13 (UNI) Nagaland recorded 76 new cases of COVID-19 and four more deaths in the last 24 hours, a state health bulletin said on Tuesday.

Among the fresh cases, 22 cases were recorded in Mokokchung, 19 in Dimapur, 11 in Tuensang, six in Mon, five in Kohima, four in Longleng, four in Wokha, four in Zunheboto and one in Phek, taking the caseload to 26052.

Out of these a total of 39 new cases were detected during self tests and random tests, 34 from traced contacts, 2 from returnees and travelers and one from armed forces and security personnel.

As many as 83 more patients recovered during the past day, taking the recoveries to 23,858. The total number of cases are now 26,052 and deaths 511.
