How to enable Private Relay feature on iPhone iPad and Mac
The Private Relay feature is perhaps the most highlighted addition to the iCloud Plus subscription service in addition to Hide My Email, HomeKit Secure video support, etc.

The feature works like a VPN where it masks the user’s IP address and data to prevent tracking and snooping by third party apps.

Given all the iCloud subscribers will be upgraded to iCloud Plus, at no additional cost, later this year, you might want to use the Private Relay feature to prevent unnecessary tracking of your data.

But, do note that the Privacy Relay feature will be available with iOS15, iPadOS 15 and macOS Monterey. If you are looking to try this feature right now, then you can do that by downloading the public beta version of the operating system.

Here’s how to use the Privacy Relay feature on iPhone, iPad and MacBook

On iOS15 and iPadOS 15
Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud -> Private Relay and turn on the Private Relay toggle

On macOS
System Preferences -> Apple ID ->iCloud and enable Private Relay by checking the respective box

After enabling the service, Apple gives users two options to choose from: Maintain general IP location and Use Country and Time Zone. Choose the one as per your need.

It is also important to mention that the service only works with Safari web browser. Also, if you live in any of these countries -- China, Belarus, Colombia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkmenistan, Uganda, and the Philippines, the Private Relay service is not available.
