Amber and Nahargarh forts and the surrounding hills have been favourite picnic spots for city residents.Unfortunately, these have also been places that have witnessed fatal accidents, more so during the monsoon season. Learning from the previous incidents, the district administration and local police ought to take preventive measures like posting personnel and putting up checkpoints near tourist spots to watch over revellers.Signboards cautioning visitors too need to be put up. Rescue teams and emergency medical aid services should be made readily available to reach these places in quick time.
