The Finance Ministry has constituted a committee on the issue of conducting bank examinations in local languages today i.e. on July 13, 2021. Accordingly, a committee has been constituted to consider the demand for examining local/regional languages for clerical cadre in Public Sector Banks, PSBs and thorough investigation of the matter. . This committee will now submit its report within 15 days. Meanwhile, the ongoing process of conducting the examination initiated by IBPS will be put on hold till the report is made available.
