'That's how she stays so trim': Australian comedians shock with 'cocaine platter' joke after Kate Middleton's appearance at Wimbledon
The comedians on Have You Been Paying Attention? raised eyebrows on Monday night when they joked about Kate Middleton's recent appearance at Wimbledon.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, was roasted after quizmaster Tom Gleisner played footage of her presenting Australian tennis star Ash Barty with her Wimbledon championship trophy on Saturday.
'That is Kate Middleton, and that's one of her cocaine platters,' Kiwi comedian Melanie Bracewell joked, referring to Barty's platter-shaped Venus Rosewater Dish trophy.

The panel exploded in laughter, as funnyman Ed Kavalee interjected: 'That's how she stays so trim!'
Of course, Ed and Melanie's comments were just made in jest, as squeaky-clean Kate has never once been accused of using cocaine or any other illicit drugs.
The Duchess' appearance at Wimbledon was her first outing since she was forced into self-isolation after coming into contact with a Covid-infected person.

Joined by her husband, Prince William, Kate watched in the grandstands as Barty, 25, triumphed over Czech Karolina Pliskova in the Wimbledon final on Saturday.
Kate, who is the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, later presented Barty with her trophy alongside Prince Edward as the crowd cheered.
'It took me a long time to verbalise the fact that I wanted to dare a dream and say I wanted to win this incredible tournament and being able to live out my dream right now with everyone here, this has made it better than I could have imagined,' Barty said.

'I didn't sleep a lot last night. I was thinking of all the what ifs, but I think when I was coming out on this court, I felt at home in a way,' she continued.
'I think being able to share that with everyone here, to share that with my team, is incredible.'
Barty is the first Australian woman to win on the grass courts of Wimbledon since Evonne Goolagong in 1980.
