Debutant Victor Letsoalo bags hat-trick as Bafana crush Lesotho in Cosafa Cup

Debutant Victor Letsoalo bagged a hat-trick Bafana Bafana advanced to the Cosafa Cup semi-finals with a 4-0 win over Lesotho at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Letsoalo and Njabulo Ngcobo were handed their national debuts, while Yusuf Maart was given his first start after coming off the bench in the previous two matches.

Sphelele Mkhulise scored South Africa's other goal in a dominant display.

Letsoalo also became the first player to score a hat-trick on debut for South Africa's national team.

South Africa booked their spot in the semi-finals with a game to spare, which is against Zambia on Wednesday.
