Fans flock to Jimmy Buffett concert at Riverbend; what to know if you're tailgating

Hours before Jimmy Buffett is expected to take the stage at Riverbend, fans were creating traffic near the venue as pre-show tailgating began at 8 a.m.
The Cincinnati Police Department tweeted Tuesday morning that “Parrot Heads,” or Buffett’s fans, “have begun their migration,” and the intersection of Kellogg Avenue at Sutton Avenue was gridlocked.
Riverbend, expecting large crowds, previously asked concert-goers to arrive at the venue as early as possible to limit congested traffic in parking areas.
The legendary artist and "Margaritaville" singer will return to Riverbend Music Center on Tuesday, marking the first big show since the venue lifted its COVID-19 restrictions.
And of course, there will be tailgating beforehand.
