The OnePlus Nord 2 5G has surfaced a new render shared by 91Mobiles publication. It shows the phone's front panel with a punch-hole in the top left corner. There are minimal bezels on all four sides that give it a full-screen design. This is pretty much what can be noticed from the latest leaked render.

UPDATE (July 7th, 2021):

OnePlus has confirmed that the Nord 2 will arrive with the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 processor. It is one of the best processors that MediaTek has to offer. and has been seen on phones like the Realme X7 Max 5G and Redmi K40 Gaming Edition. It means users can expect smooth and fast performance.

Update: June 29, 2021

Once again, @OnLeaks in association with the tech blog is presenting a new leak that now reveals the renders of the alleged Nord 2. These images have been rendered based on the early prototype CAD that the tipster managed to have access to.

As pretty evident from the renders, the purported Nord 2 has a hole-punch cutout on its display which is situated on the top-left corner. The back panel appears to be bearing three cameras. These sensors are housed inside a rectangular-shaped module. The LED flash is also sitting in the same module.

Overall, the phone looks to have narrow bezels and a thin chin. The volume rocker is residing on the left edge, whereas the power button and the alert slider are sitting on the right edge. Also, the bottom is housing a USB Type-C port, SIM tray, and a speaker griller at the bottom.

A new OnePlus phone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 has been in rumors for some time now. However, we have hardly learned anything other than the processor name. Now, a new tip has arrived that claims to offer other major details of this phone.

The phone is believed to be the Nord 2 whose name was spotted after OnePlus’ slip-up. The tech blog 91Mobiles together with the known tipster @OnLeaks claim to have information on the key specifications of the Nord 2. According to the report, the Nord 2 will feature a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is going to have an in-display fingerprint sensor. The processor name has been said enough times and that is believed to be Dimensity 1200.

The Nord 2 is said to be coming in two storage variants, one with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage and another with 12GB RAM with 256GB storage. It is going to feature a triple camera setup, where the primary sensor is 50MP, followed by an 8MP and a 2MP camera. On the front, it is said to be carrying a 32MP camera. The Nord 2 has a 4,500mAh battery, however, the fast-charging capacity is unknown.

As per the duo’s report, the Nord 2 will launch in July. Meanwhile, OnePlus has one more phone to launch in Nord-series and that is Nord CE 5G.
