In my final process of setting up a simple gym in my Garage (approx. 260 sq.ft).
Wanted to know how much is your Garage is insulated (protected from cold) and how guys are managing in winter.
My garage setup: Finished totally and half of Garage (leading to Garage entrance) was recently finished with Rockwool bat insulation and drywall and other half (leading to my house entrance portion) was long back finished without any bat insulation inside I believe)
Now that winter is approaching in 4 months, I am worried.
Any tips ideas really helpful

I have a stand alone garage with a separated room 12x21 (~250 sqft). Regular bat insulation in the walls and roof, fully drywalled. The floor has a "Barricade" subfloor + rubber gym floor. Last winter I was able to keep it heated with an 1500W electric "oil filled" radiator that had a thermostat plug set to about 10-15C. Given your garage is connected to your home, you might find the garage already sits at a temp of 10C. Once you start working out you warm up pretty quick and if you need to you can always boost the heater temp while you're in there. As most people won't have a separate room built in the garage, the largest heat loss will be through your garage door. The concrete floor as a thermal mass may also be a source of cooling, but again, since you're connected to your house it probably will stay warm enough. If you put down a sub floor, then you probably want to consider if you want to do any olympic lifts and/or heavy weight drops. Finally, if your garage floor is sloped (assume it is) then consider if that will impact your style of training. For summer, I'm just using an industrial fan for cooling.
If your garage door is not insulated, then check out ways to add insulation. Some guys just add insulation board. Then stop air infiltration.
