Deliveries of Skoda’s first compact SUV, the Kushaq, commenced from today, July 12, 2021. The Czech carmaker will hand over the 1.0-litre variants from today while deliveries of the 1.5-litre variants will begin from August. The company’s director tweeted that the SUV has almost booked 3,000 units since its launch on June 28.
Priced from Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kushaq is offered in three trims: Active, Ambition, and Style. You can read about the detailed variant-wise features here. The SUV gets two turbo-petrol engine choices, and both can be paired with either a manual or an automatic transmission. Here’s a quick look at the detailed specifications of both engines:

Notable features in the Kushaq include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a single-pane sunroof, automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, a 6-speaker sound system with subwoofer, ambient lighting, and ventilated front seats.
Passenger safety is taken care of by up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors with camera, electronic stability control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
