Portugal offers to buy back dollar-denominated debt in auction
LISBON, July 12 (Reuters) - Portugal's debt agency IGCP will hold a reverse auction on Tuesday where it plans to buy back part of its dollar-denominated EMTN notes maturing in October 2024, the IGCP said on Monday.
The minimum bid size in the auction is set at $1 million.
"The total target volume that will be purchased will not be predetermined but it will not cover the entire issuance," the IGCP added. The notes were issued in July 2014 under a 15-billion euro EMTN programme launched in late 2013. (Reporting by Andrei Khalip)
