I've been away from home with free access to a limited gym so I've basically been doing a bro-split for the last 3 week.
Now I'm back working at home and have joined the local gym, seeing as though I haven't trained for years I'll take it as I'm a beginner.
I started the Fierce 5 program and have a few gripes.
After the session I'd felt like I'd hardly trained, my legs are in pain already but tbh they were hurting after the first set but apart from that nothing.
When I was away and say training my chest at the end of the workout I was pumped and could tell I'd had a good session, today after only doing 3 sets of 5 on the bench there was nothing.
Are these programs actually any good for hypertrophy or are they more based on strength gains alone?

Both
I wouldn't quantify fierce 5 as equivalent to all full body layouts though.
I'd also be careful about attributing a good session to feeling doms or a pump.
Take a look at the stronger by science programs or candito linear variations if you want some more variety in rep ranges5 day full body crew
