Tesla's Elon Musk recently made the move from San Francisco Bay luxury to more modest digs in Brownsville, Texas, putting his 12,000-plus-square-foot California mansion on the market for a cool $37.5 million. Now his declared challenger in electric vehicles, Henrik Fisker, is moving up.
California not big enough for Musk and Fisker?
The Tesla boss' California mansion is the market. His competitor just bought a $21 million home overlooking Los Angeles.
According to the affluent-lifestyles website American Luxury, Fisker has plunked down $21.8 million on a five-bedroom/eight-bathroom villa, shown here, that overlooks Los Angeles. In addition to a Roman bath and other refinements, per the site, the three-level hillside pad features an entertainment area with a 105-inch TV and seating for 40, and a lower-level spa, at left, built with bricks of Himalayan salt.
