Third man charged over Melbourne murder
A third man has been charged over the murder of Melbourne man Brendon Farrell.
The 49-year-old Doveton man was charged with murder on Monday after police raided a property in the suburb.
He will face Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
It comes after a 30-year-old Hampton Park man was charged with murder and a 49-year-old Noble Park man was charged with accessory to murder on Saturday.
Mr Farrell, 32, was last seen by a friend on May 31 at his home in Doveton, in the city's southeast, and police believe he fell victim to a violent crime at the property.
Detectives on Friday discovered suspected human remains at a house in Noble Park. A post-mortem is underway.
