Navi Mumbai reports more Covid-19 recoveries than new cases; 69 test positive today

NAVI MUMBAI: Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Friday informed that 69 people tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The overall cases in the region have increased to 1,02,113.
Three people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall death toll to 1,787.
Whereas, 161 people were discharged from hospitals after making a recovery. Till date, 98,813 people have recovered.
The active cases in the region now stand at 1,513. Whereas, 440 people are in home isolation.
Among the new cases, 17 people tested positive in Vashi, 15 in Koparkhairne, 11 in Airoli, 10 in Belapur, nine in Nerul, five in Turbhe, and two in Ghansoli.
No new case was found in Digha.
