- He was killed at a house in Table View, north of the CBD, on Friday.
- A woman was arrested and will appear in court.
Cape Town lawyer Leon Nortier was shot dead in Table View on Friday night.
Police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said the shooting occurred in Heron Road in the suburb north of the Cape Town CBD.
Van Wyk said a 60-year-old woman was arrested and would appear in court to face charges relating to the shooting.
She was supposed to appear in court on Monday.
National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the case was rolled over to Tuesday so that accused could be examined by a district surgeon.
The circumstances of the shooting are being investigated.
Nortier was a member of the Cape Bar, and studied at Stellenbosch University.
His office declined to comment at the moment.
