Thane: List of Covid-19 vaccination centres administering Covaxin, Covishield today

THANE: The Covid-19 vaccination drive in Thane will be operational across 54 centres on Monday for people above 18 years of age.
Eligible beneficiaries can get their first or second jab of either Covaxin or Covishield at these centres, the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) informed.
Covaxin
Covaxin doses will be available at eight vaccination centres on Monday for everyone over the age of 18. Those who have taken their first dose of the vaccine on June 12 are now eligible for their second dose.
The walk-in inoculation drive will be functional at Apla Davakhana Ramnagar, TMC Uthalsar UHC, TMC CSMH, TMC Balkum HC, TMC Hajuri ATC and TMC Mental Hospital from 12 pm to 4 pm, each with 200 doses.
Citizens can get their Covaxin shot at TMC Parking Plaza and TMC Kausa Stadium from 11 am to 4 pm. Both the centres will have 300 vaccine doses.
Covishield
The remaining 46 vaccination centres in the city will be administering the Covishield vaccine. Those who had taken their first dose upto April 17 are now eligible to take their second jab.
For people going abroad, Tokyo Olympics
Special walk-in sessions have been organised at the TMC Post Covid Centre 1 and TMC Kausa HC (ATC) 1 for students who are set to travel abroad for higher studies, professionals travelling for work and for those participating in the Tokyo Olympics.
While the former will be operational from 11 am to 1 pm with 100 doses of Covishied, the latter will be open from 11 am to 4 pm, but only with 50 doses.
Vaccination on Wheels
Out of the total 46 centres administering Covishield, four centres have been categorised as 'vaccination on wheels' which will operate from 11 am to 3 pm, each with 300 doses.
The first and second doses of Covishield will be given to people above 45 years of age through the civic body's mobile vaccination initiative at Ghantali Mandir Sabhagruh (Naupada), Kharegaon Hiradevi Mandir Hall, Shivai Nagar (Vartak Nagar) and TMC cricket ground.
Differently-abled beneficiaries, pregnant women and lactating mothers will be given preference at all Covid-19 vaccination centres. All the centres will have their 50 per cent vaccine doses reserved for the first shot and 50 per cent for the second shot.
