Doc ‘falls to death’ from 14th-floor flat, cops suspect suicide

Greater Noida: A 35-year-old doctor allegedly fell to her death from the 14th-floor balcony of her flat in Greater Noida on Saturday.
While police suspect suicide, her family has raised questions on the claim.
The doctor had been staying in the flat with her mother ever since she was separated from her husband. However, she was alone at home for the past few days as her mother had gone to visit her younger sister. Guards, who heard a loud thud, found her body at the base of the tower where she lived. Anita Chauhan, the SHO of Bisrakh police station, said the woman could possibly be suffering from depression.
In another case, an 82-year-old woman allegedly jumped to her death from the 20th floor of Mahagun Moderne society in Sector 78. TNN
