A thrifty woman transformed her bathroom beyond recognition with stick-on tiles from Kmart - but eagle-eyed homeowners say there's a major flaw with the redesign.
Alongside photos of the revamp posted to an Australian Facebook community page, a shopper explained how she gave her dated bathroom walls a modern coastal makeover with the discount store's new $25 Self Adhesive 3D Mosaic Tiles.
The tiles - which come in four different designs that cover 1.5 square metres per pack - are designed to be used to update kitchen splashbacks, bathroom surfaces and laundry countertops.
The woman said she was thrilled with the result of her budget-friendly transformation, writing: 'Thanks to Kmart, my bathroom doesn't look so ugly anymore - so in love with the new look.'

Photos of the DIY job, which have racked up 1,600 'likes' since they were uploaded online on July 8, quickly sparked hundreds of delighted responses.
But many expressed concerned that the tiles will become a breeding ground for mould and mildew because of their proximity to the showerhead.
'Looks great but will those stick-on tiles be ok long term in the shower? I’d assume they would fall off or accumulate mould? Very pretty though,' one woman wrote.
'They say they won't work in showers, so don't be disappointed if they don't look pretty in a few weeks. But it has improved the look,' said another.
A third added: 'Looks great but aren’t suitable for in the shower as stated on the back of the packet! Hoping for your sake it lasts though!'

The tiles can be safely used on splashbacks like the one pictured, but many say they are not suitable for shower walls where they will become a breeding ground for mould and mildew
A product description on Kmart's website says the tiles are 'resistant to water, oil, high temperatures and mildew' and are suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms 'as long as dust is wiped off during installation'.
Dozens jumped to the woman's defence, saying she could have covered the tiles with waterproof insulation.
'So much assuming. There's a bunch of variables. Maybe she went over this with a waterproof [film] and sealed the joints. I've been considering doing the same even if it's not a forever thing,' said one.
A second added: 'I missed the part were she asked for opinions.'
