Puducherry, Jul 11 (UNI) Nearly a fortnight after the new Ministers took oath in the N Rangaswamy Cabinet in the Union Territory on June 27, Portfolios were allocated to them on Sunday.
A gazette notification here said the following are the portfolios allocated :
Mr.N Rangasamy- Chief minister
Confidential and Cabinet Department, Cooperation, Revenue and Excise, General Administration, Health and Family Welfare, Hindu Religious Institutions, Wakf Board, Local Administration, Port, Science technology and Environment, Town and Country Planning, Information and Publicity and other subjects which are not allocated to any other ministers.
Mr.A Namassivayam :
Home, Electricity, Industries and Commerce, Education including Collegiate education, Sports and Youth affairs and Sainik Welfare.
Mr.K Lakshminarayanan :
Public Works Department, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Law, Information technology, Printing and Stationary.
