3 test Covid positive from 1,113 tests

Vadodara: Merely three Covid-19 cases were reported in the city and district on Saturday including just one case in the city limits. It is for the first time after April 26, 2020 that the number of positive cases reported in the city and district have gone below five.
The three cases reported in the city and district include two from the areas of the district outside Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) limits from the Angadh village. The lone case from the city was reported from the Makarpura GIDC area.
The new cases were detected from 1,113 tests conducted in the city and district in the 24 hours ending on Saturday evening. The total number of cases reported in the city and district so, for now, stands at 71,773. The death toll remained at 623 as no new deaths were reported on Saturday.
Nine patients were discharged from hospitals or home quarantine on Friday taking the number of discharged patients to 71,105. Forty-five active cases now remain including five on ventilators or BIPAP machines and seven on oxygen support.
