BHUBANESWAR/BERHAMPUR: Two commandos of Odisha Police’s Special Operations Group (SOG) and an unidentified number of Maoists were injured during an anti-insurgency operation in Uma forest in Odisha’s Kandhamal on Saturday. They were airlifted to Bhubaneswar and their condition is said to be stable. “While one commando has two bullets in his thigh, another has a bullet on his cheek,” AIIMS superintendent Sachidananda Mohanty said.
