Byron Bay influencer Ruby Tuesday Matthews reignites feud with Triple M's Lawrence Mooney as she blasts him for Byron Bay lockdown breach... after he accused her of 'prostituting herself online for freebies'

Instagram star Ruby Tuesday Matthews has blasted Triple M host Lawrence Mooney for breaching Covid-19 restrictions in NSW.

Lawrence was slapped with a $1000 fine for spending two weeks on holiday in Byron Bay on July 2nd, despite restrictions preventing him from travelling.

'Wow from the guy who called me a number of horrible names and made me out to be 'entitled' on national radio (even when your end of the story is false),' Ruby wrote on Instagram.

'Glad to see you are above society and its rules,' the Byron Bay model, 27 continued.

According to The Daily Telegraph, officers from the Southern Highlands Police District spoke to Lawrence on Friday and ascertained that he had travelled to Byron Bay on July 2nd.

Lawrence said in an apology on Thursday that he did not realise that the restrictions applied to him.

The radio star lives in the Southern Highlands, and works in the Sydney CBD, and claims he did not realise this prevented him from travelling to Byron Bay.

The feud between Ruby and Lawrence started when the Triple M host roasted her in a brutal radio segment about influencers in January.

In the video, Lawrence referred to social media influencers as 'low-hanging fruit' who 'prostitute themselves online for free products'.

He also made special mention of Ruby, who was infamously branded 'entitled' for holding up a Jetstar flight to eat oysters in October last year.

'This bird can go and get shucked!' Lawrence joked, referring to Ruby's 'oystergate' scandal.

A seething Ruby lashed out at Lawrence on Instagram Stories, uploading a photo of the comedian with a pig emoji covering his face.

'Someone just sent me this and I'm utterly gobsmacked. It really does go to show how low the human race is,' she wrote.

'If all you can do is completely right [sic] off a single mum to make a segment, what do you really have going for yourself and your D grade radio show.'

Ruby then insisted she doesn't promote brands in exchange for freebies.

'To say I prostitute myself out for products, it's a complete lie. I actually get paid lol! To call me low hanging fruit and say I "w**re myself out" is a disgusting comment to make about anyone, let alone a mother of two small boys,' she raged.

The mother of two concluded by calling Lawrence an 'a**hole', and encouraged her fans to retaliate by leaving negative comments on his Instagram account.
