Rajasthan crime rate rising, Gandhis silent, says BJP

NEW DELHI: Citing the rising crime graph in Rajasthan, including incidents of rape and mob lynching, BJP on Saturday questioned the silence of Congress functionaries Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra and accused the Ashok Gehlot dispensation of being busy in just “minting”
money rather than paying attention to law and order.
At a press conference, BJP national spokespersons Rajyavardhan Rathore and Nupur Sharma said incidents of rape and other crimes have become synonymous with “Congress culture”. Rathore said,“When the country was battling Covid during the lockdown, women in Rajasthan were struggling to survive not only the pandemic but also the onslaught of goons as the state government was a mute spectator”.
