Mahindra Scorpio price increased by up to Rs 39,000, read all details here

Indian carmaker Mahindra has increased the price of SUV Scorpio by up to Rs 38,000. The company has increased the price a second time in the last 4 months. Earlier, Mahindra Scorpion was being sold at the price between Rs 12.32 lakh and Rs 17.02 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the SUV is now available at the price range of Rs 12.59 lakh to Rs 17.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In April 2021, the company has increased the prices by up to Rs 49,000. However, the company has not changed anything in Scorpio. The SUV comes with LED taillamps, projector headlamps, faux leather-wrapped steering wheel,  17-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-functional steering wheel, due climate control, fully automatic temperature control, height-adjustable driver seat and mate black dashboard.

The Scorpio comes with a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine. In the entry-level S3+ variant, the car has produce 120bhp of maximum power and 280Nm of peak torque. In S5, S7, S9, and S11 variants, the car produces 140bhp of maximum power and 319Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed MT in the S3+, while other variants have a 6-speed MT.

On the safety front, the car has ABS, EBD, rear parking sensor engine immobilizer speed alert and etc.
