Three dead in horror Queensland crashes
Three people have died in two separate crashes on Queensland roads.
A young man and teenage boy were killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Clontarf around 10pm Friday when their red Hyundai i20 lost control and clipped another car before travelling across a median strip and crashing into a Holden Commodore.
The occupants of the Hyundai, a 21-year-old from Bracken Ridge and a 17-year-old from Sandgate died at the scene, near the intersection of Snook Street and Macdonnel Road.
A man and woman in their 50s, who had been travelling in the Commodore, received serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Queensland police said.
In a separate incident, a woman, 54, was killed when the Toyota Landcruiser she was travelling in rolled down an embankment in Moolboolaman near Bundaberg.
Police say the accident occurred at the corner of Gin Gin Mount Perry and Spring roads just after 3pm on Friday.
A young boy was airlifted to the Queensland Children's Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition and the male driver, 55, was taken by road to Bundaberg Hospital.
Queensland police's forensic crash unit is investigating both incidents and is asking anyone with information to notify them via www.police.qld.gov.au/reporting or call 131 444.
