Yes, precisely. But the console still works. Just the disc drive. The cable is like broken. The solder is damaged a little.

I think the a type and b type variant is just the cable length options, not sure. Check the pitch and other cable dimensions with your cable.
I assume you just need the cable. Not sure about the disk drive replacement.
