Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has urged the new Union Health Minister Mansukh to provide a sufficient quantity of vaccines to Rajasthan for the Covid-19 vaccination campaign. He has made this request by writing a letter to the new Union Minister of the country.

Ashok Gehlot himself has given information about this by tweeting. CM Gehlot tweeted that in Rajasthan, more than 42 percent of the people above the age of 18 years have been given the first dose vaccine.

We have been supplied with an average of 1.75 lakh vaccines per day, whereas we have maintained the capacity to administer 15 lakh vaccines per day in the state. In this way, due to our capability, all the people of the state can be vaccinated before December. But we are worried about the way the supply is being done from the center. Significantly, on Friday, Rajasthan has received only two lakh more Coveshield doses.
