NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested two alleged criminals in separate shootouts in northwest Delhi's Rohini area, officials said on Thursday.
A police team arrested Pradeep, wanted in several cases of robbery, snatching and a case where the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) has been invoked, after a brief exchange of fire in Rohini, officials said.
He sustained a bullet injury and was shifted to a hospital, a senior police officer said.
According to the police, another shootout took place at the Begampur area.
Deepak, who was involved in over 30 cases of robbery and snatching, was arrested, police said.
He was injured during the shootout and shifted to a hospital where he is undergoing treatment and is stated to be stable, police said.
