Batelco achieves PCI-DSS compliance for its three data centres

Bahrain's Batelco has announced the attainment of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) 3.2.1 compliance, which is the latest international certification in data security, for its three data centres. Batelco' PCI compliance was audited against the PCI Data Security Standards by ValueMentor, a provider of risk and compliance services. The compliance scheme aims to secure credit and debit card transactions against data theft and fraud.
