Things are back to normal in the Shah home and fans couldn't be happier. Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah, who had been admitted to a Mumbai hospital for pneumonia, was discharged on July 7, his son and actor Vivaan Shah said. The 70-year-old actor had been taken to the Khar-based P D Hinduja Hospital & Medical Research Centre on June 29. ‘Back home,’ Vivaan Shah captioned a picture of his father and mother, actor Ratna Pathak Shah on his Instagram Story. In his next Story, he wrote, 'He just got discharged today morning'. Giving an update on the actor's health, a hospital source had told a news agency on July 3, 'He is stable and under observation. He is on medication and absolutely fine.' Last week, Ratna Pathak had also said that her husband had a ‘small patch’ of pneumonia in his lungs and was undergoing treatment at the hospital for the same. When the news of Shah's hospitalisation got out, many wished him a speedy recovery. Among them was veteran actor Anupam Kher, who took to his Twitter to wish his colleague good health. This came a year after Shah called Anupam 'a clown', which resulted in a bitter public controversy. In his note, the actor wrote that pneumonia is seeking importance and that's why has stuck with Shah. He wrote in Hindi, 'Janaab Naseeruddin Shah Sahab!! Kambakht pneumonia importance chah raha hai. Isliye 1-2 dino ke liye aapke sath ho liya hai. Jaldi jhatak de isse aur theek ho jaiye. Bade dino se aapke sath kaam karne ki talab hai. khyal rakhiye apna. Aapki achchi sehat ke liye prarthana aur dua.' Coming back to Shah, on the work front, the National Award-winning actor was last seen in the film 'Mee Raqsam'. He was also a part of the hit web series where he played the role of a classical musician.
