Navi Mumbai: 117 new Covid-19 cases, four deaths; 25 tests positive in Vashi

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) on Thursday informed that 117 people tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
The overall cases in the region has now increased to 1,01,721.
Meanwhile, 98 people were discharged from hospitals after making a recovery. Till date, 98,303 people have recovered.
Five people succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall death count to 1,777.
The active cases in the region now stand at 1,641. Whereas, 451 people are in home isolation.
Among the new cases, 33 people tested positive in Belapur alone, followed by 25 in Vashi, 17 in Nerul, 15 in Ghansoli, 11 in Turbhe, seven in Airoli, six in Koparkhairne and three in Digha.
